Veterinary Assistance Available Through Humane Society of the Ohio Valley
Made Available by a Grant from Banfield Charitable Trust
Banfield Charitable Trust is a national nonprofit working to keep pets and people together
The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley is now able to provide limited financial assistance for veterinary care to qualified pet owners in Washington County, Ohio. Funds cannot be given for spay or neuter, but can be given for other needed vet care, routine or emergency.
To qualify for assistance, you must complete a form www.hsov.org/forms/Veterinary-Assistance-Application-2015.pdf and submit it to the Humane Society for review. Forms are available from your veterinarian, at the Humane Society, or on the Humane Society’s website: www.hsov.org
Since funds are limited, veterinary assistance will be dispersed on a first come, first served basis to those who meet strict financial guidelines. We require that your veterinarian examine your pet so that you know what veterinarian care is needed. Veterinary assistance given will be paid directly to the veterinarian who provides care for your pet.
