Our shelter is getting full and the homeless animals need our help. The shelter staff is busy with everyday duties. We are in need of volunteers who are available between the hours of 10:00am and 4pm Monday through Friday to help with walking dogs. There was a happy ending/new beginning today for three newborn orphaned kittens who were found in a dumpster on Pike Street in Marietta, Ohio on the evening of March 31, 2015. Those tiny kittens had been placed in individual plastic bags and left to die a horrible death.
