Home Depot is donating primer, paint, paint trays, brushes, rollers, roller covers, and painter’s tape to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley(HSOV) for the ongoing “sprucing up” project. The Parkersburg (WV) South High School Student Council made a generous donation to the HSOV on April 4, 2015. When the students learned of the break-in and loss of money at our shelter, they decided to hold a fundraiser to help the HSOV animals. Tommy goes to the vet Tuesday to have his eye removed. this little guy has endured so much and is still a really pleasant boy. There was a happy ending/new beginning today for three newborn orphaned kittens who were found in a dumpster on Pike Street in Marietta, Ohio on the evening of March 31, 2015. Those tiny kittens had been placed in individual plastic bags and left to die a horrible death. If you find a dog/cat, please do not assume it is a stray or that it has been abandoned. Please do not keep it or give it away until you have talked to your local police department, vets, animal shelters, groomers and neighbors. You can even mention it to your mail carrier.
