Kingston McMahon celebrated his 7th Birthday in a very special way. This handsome young man asked his friends and family to buy gifts for the HSOV animals rather than personal gifts for himself. I want to thank everyone that made the Earth day Adopt-a-thon such an amazing success for HSOV and the dogs and cats. Home Depot is donating primer, paint, paint trays, brushes, rollers, roller covers, and painter’s tape to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley(HSOV) for the ongoing “sprucing up” project. The Parkersburg (WV) South High School Student Council made a generous donation to the HSOV on April 4, 2015. When the students learned of the break-in and loss of money at our shelter, they decided to hold a fundraiser to help the HSOV animals.
